A huge milestone for me-may I celebrate just a bit?

For the first time in 18 years, I've seen a number starting with something less than a 3 on the scale. I broke 300 for the first time this morning, and I am so excited. That's 75 lbs. total lost for me, and another 75 or so to go. I played football in college at a solid 240 lbs., so I'm hoping that 225 is about the right spot for me now. This morning was 299.6.

Thanks to all on this board for the advice and encouragement.

Woo-HOO! Congratulations, DoubleTap!

How do you plan to celebrate? Jumping up and down screaming like a contestant on a game show is always a good start; then maybe a celebratory ride someplace beautiful?

I'm headed to a week in the mountains with my family. A week of cycling, soaking in the hot springs, hiking, and maybe a cheeseburger.

Way to go~!!! The last time I broke that number was over 20yrs ago - that is so sweet for you!

Now, you must swear to never hit that number again~! Losing is hard, but gaining is easy... keep your focus - a great deed for you indeed~!!!
