HI Guys- sorry I have been absent. I need to refocus and get clear on weight loss. My riding has lapsed! I have a 24 hr ride coming up and have narely been on the bike...and my eating has been lousy. So I need to refocus.
Weight was 194 - which is really high. So time to workout. Hard! So hard to get started. It's a lie that I am happier lying in bed- I am not...so I will sign off now and get to sleep. Up at 6 to jog for 3 miles in the morning. I am all talk - so don't hold your breadth! How does someone go from super motivated to blah! Zip Zilch? I will log back in tomorrow and report in: 1 goal: Tuesday AM - Treadmill! Get on it! |
As long as you move forward it was just an obstacle.
Just plodding along here. Little by little. 7/4/10 303.6 7/12/10 299.0 7/19/10 298.0 7/26/10 296.0 8/2/10 295.2 8/9/10 295.0 8/16/10 293.4 |
Wow sorry I have missed a bunch of updates lately, but I have been crazy busy.
I've been riding pretty regularly though the last week was a no ride week due to the 110+ heat indexes. Otherwise I have been doing well though. I started Couch to 5K a couple of weeks ago and will start week 3 tonight, and for the most part that is going well. I'm really hoping for a break in the weather (yesterday was great but I was ill and missed my normal Monday night ride) so that I can get some more outdoorsy stuff done. I also came to the realization this morning that I am more than halfway to my goal weight, a huge accomplishment in my book. Up a little bit yesterday, but not surprised, spent 6 hours--3-there, 3-back-- in the car on Sunday, then ate a bunch of great food at the annual family reunion. What over-eating and sitting around will make you gain weight... bah, new low this morning though, I rode 20-miles Monday night, first ride in a long time it seems. Still Monday is weigh-in day, so it stands. Also, Whoops, put the wrong week number in the thread title last week, thanks to Missbumble for fixing it, see what happens when your not around, the whole place starts to fall apart.

Truth be told, I had a very good loss last week before putting a ton back on due to a bachelor party on Sunday. I guess I could be upset, but I have to remind myself that the occasional indulgence is just a small set back and not the end of the world. Besides, a bachelor party is a good reason to splurge a little. More than that, I did right the ship this past week and next Monday's weigh-in is going to be something spectacular. |
Back again after a long absence. Started back to Weight Watchers last week. Losts 6 lbs this week.Yay me. Numbers are high 272.6.
