Life changes, hopefully for the good.

I hope nobody minds, but I need to get this out. My life has been in flux lately, and it has caused me to put some of my weight back on. I lost my job about 5 weeks ago when they closed my place of work down. That put me at the house eating. I am not sure how much I gained, but probably 5 pounds or so. Not a lot, but I don't want to do like the last 3 winters and put 15 back on. So, I was fortunate enough to get a job which I start this week, but I need to get off my tail and back into the gym. One thing that may help is that I will not be bird hunting as much, if any this winter. I was sort of getting burned out on the whole hunting thing anyway, but some circumstances make it easier to give it up and put the time into training. That has been my biggest downfall over the years, and it feels good put my effort into something that is good for me. I did also have some injuries that needed to heal up. Now I hope to ramp things back up and push my weight down into the range of when I was my fittest 20 years ago. Sorry for the rambling, I just need to get this off my chest.

Sorry to read about your job loss. However, I'm pleased to learn you are taking action. Just do it.
