Starting a company for us Clydesdales (and Athenas)

Hey all,

I am starting a company (currently in the development stages) that will specialize in wheels (and other parts/components) for Clydesdales. I am hoping to get this thing off the ground soon, and am looking for some blog writers with experience being a Clydesdale. Reviews of components, articles about the in's-and-out's of being a larger rider, tips on biking for weight loss... anything that pertains to being a large cyclist.

If anyone is interested, please let me know! I am hoping to find 5 regular monthly posters, so if you are interested, shoot me an email!

Thanks!
Chris

For those who have replied, many thanks. I am unable to reply via PM on this board, as I do not have the required posts to do so. If you could either:

1) Add your email address in your PM
2) Email me directly at chris AT clydesdalecycleworks DOT com

that would be great!

Thanks again,
Chris

I can't find that as a valid URL on the Internet.

thanks :) ... the cryptic email address is to avoid spam bots... just replace the AT with a @ and the DOT with a .

Is this expected to be a voluntary item, or is there some remuneration available to posters for your business?

fattchris 10-25-10 12:18 PM

At this point, it is purely voluntary. I will provide anything I sell at a discount (my cost) to anyone participating, and as the business takes off, I would like to provide free goods as I can afford them, but am, at this point, unable to promise anything other than a discount.

I already have several great people on board, and I surely don't want anyone to feel like I am looking for free work here. If you think it would be something that you would enjoy, than the offer is here. I want people who really desire to participate for their own reasons, and not simply because I am asking.

I hope there is no misunderstanding... my intention is not to find "free employment," rather, provide an outlet for those who wish to be part of the group/company as it takes off.

The blog is up and running now, and has some great posts! Thanks to all who are contributing: your words of wisdom are appreciated.

Also, the eStore is up as well. There are some products that I have that are not yet listed, so because of my delay, I will be extending the 10% off and $1 shipping into February. Note that if you want something I don't have, just email me... chances are I can get it.

Thanks again!

P.S... the link to the store and blog is higher up in this post. :)

Today's post on the blog is exceptionally brilliant.

Chris, you can place the URL for your Blog in your signature, and it will show where ever you post, then. I'd normally move something like this to "Advertise your Services", but this is somewhat specialized specific to this subforum, so I'll leave this here. Do check with me on certain things, so we can keep you in compliance with site policies, as well. That said, welcome aboard.

Suggestion - fix the typo in your "10% off ad". The one that scrolls through several pictures. In your ad it says out when I believe you meant our.

Thanks! I must have proof read that 100 times, and still missed it. Fixed now.

I feel your pain, as I've done that before with reports I've written.
