losing weight, the wrong way

Yay me! I've lost 18 lbs in the last 5 days!

Of course, its due to this evil GI bug I am harboring, but I have to find the positive somewhere.

This is more a heads up for people. This bug is moving fast through my community, and from what I'm hearing from friends, its spreading in patches all over the place. 10% of my company is out right now, the VA my wife works at is almost as bad.

Its a bug that primarily causes you to expel mass volumes of satans vomit from your nether posterior region. In most people it also cause nausea and occasional vomiting. The average duration of expulsion is in the 7-10 day range, so its not a quick thing.

If you get it, try not to go to work. It spreads easily so you don't want to infect your coworkers.

Just thought I would give everyone a heads up.

Oh, and to keep this on topic... I haven't been able to ride my trike for almost a week.

Man, that's crappy. (sorry) We've been having some of this going through our area too, but it doesn't seem to last as long as you are describing. Two to four days seems to be what I've heard.

Get better!

As Robin Williams would say, "Two exits, no waiting".

Get well soon.

Ugh, sorry about the manner of your weight loss! I hate two-bucket problems. Hope you get better soon!

Ended late friday night, early saturday. I spent most of yesterday resting, reading, and rehydrating (the three R's). I just finished a tough (for me) 7 mile ride, so it looks like I'm almost back to snuff.

It ended as quick as it started too. Weirdest GI bug I've ever had.
