Old Fat versus New Fat

I've been wondering whether old fat stored in the body was harder to burn than newer fat. I speculated that one needed to build the support structure to metabolize it. It seems to be more complex than that. This article suggests that dietary fat is needed for the liver to burn stored fat.

Dr. OZ was talking about yellow vs brown fat.. Maybe this is old vs new fat. He said the brown is added/lost where yellow is the harden stores. There is also SQ vs verseral fats. This study also hits on why low fats diets have problems also well as diabetes being related to fat intake and not just carbs.

Everything works together. I read a book at thanksgiving that outlined how to put your body into fat burn mode and it works but you have to be good on the foods you eat and exercise five to six days a week. If you want to burn fat take time to read books that set your diet to the amount of protein, carbs, and fat. If you monitor these by your daily calorie intake which is set by your height and weight you will burn fat. It will not matter if it is old or new. You just keep on till you hit your goal weight. Good Luck
