What are some good padded MTB bike shorts for a big boy?

I wear a 48 relaxed fit pants and like the MTB shorts with pads but when I stopped at the local bike shop they only had fox shorts that went to size 44. They looked on line but could not find anything that would fit me. Does anyone have some suggestions. Please hurry with suggestions, my backside is getting sore at the 10 mile mark everytime I ride. Thanks

Dude, where have you been?...Love2pedal.com...shorts road and mtb up to 4XL (charts say 43-46).

They are on vacation from Feb 5th thru the 20th so better hurry if you plan to order. I'm in California and my shorts only took 2 days to arrive. I have a gift card (recent purchase) with a code that will save you $5. Lemme know!

I have three pair of the Hoss Ponderosa and they have become my favorite shorts, even when I am not riding. The Chamois keeps me all dry and happy

All good options above.
Another option:
J&G Cyclewear patrol shorts-

I own/wear/use-the-heck-out-of two pairs of these (38" waist) and like them much.

I have a pair of MTB shorts coming and hopefully will get them before the weekend. I have a long ride and am having a hard time staying in the saddle. I have fifty miles in for the last four days and that is a lot for me. I appreciate the suggestions and will keep them in mind when I hopefully go down another size. Thanks
