Looks like a well dressed bike... fenders and all.
Enjoy it. The real riding weather is just around the corner.

Cool deal! I like the bars too. CCs are a popular commuter choice around these parts. Have fun!

They look like Salsa Woodchippers. I've got em on my bike and love them.

Congratulations on "getting it together" and riding to work - for me that was a big step.

I've struggled with injuries that limit my time on a bike, and I would get frustrated by not being able to go on long, cruising rides. My friends encouraged me to commute to work - (which I was accustomed to doing every once in awhile) - and my thoughts were "that's not a long enough ride" (7 mi. RT).

Then I realized how much my thoughts were physically limiting me - and I wasn't "walking the (environmentalist) walk". I became very enthused and dedicated to the "one less car" idea and providing my own pedal powered transportation. Before long my commuting routine was running very smoothly and my cycling fitness improved - yes even on those short[ trips!

I had to grow up a bit to realize there is nothing wrong with short trips! And in fact I need them in order to eventually build up to longer ones.

Have fun on that great new ride!

I have a good friend who got a Cross Check recently. She loves it. Before that bike, she had a K2 with a carbon fork, a sleek lightweight frame, and the whole nine yards ... but she says the Surley handles much better, and is a more comfortable ride. She blames the frame and says "steel is real." Apparently everybody loves those things.

Riding to work is awesome, by the way.
