Clyde Stuff That Kills Ya!
Not only is my daughter an excellent cook but being very involved in the local momy's club with her 3 young kids, she also does a bunch of stuff for the classrooms like make cupcakes.
Geeze, some of her stuff is so nice, I hate to taste the samples.
But she's killing me here!
Some of her cupcakes!
Now you can see why I don't buy girlscout cookies!

Sweets have always been my weakness! If I break down and have a little "taste" it could trigger a binge, and it always takes me 3-4 days to get over the nasty desire to get my fix.
Those would REALLY be tough on me!

Me too! I think it's more the cake with cream filling that does me in more than the candy confections.

How about those Valentine conversation hearts? Those went on sale just in time for the garbage weather to arrive, therefore bringing any weight loss to a screeching halt (again!).
I've got to tell myself those things suck so I don't eat them anymore

Cup cakes and cookies I don't have any issues with (though the ones above look tasty!). For sweets, my issues are with chocolate and ice cream. If they are in the house, I will eat them. But my biggest struggle is with pasta.

Those sweets look great! Pizza is my problem food. If its there it must be eaten. Its bug-light like attraction is only slightly more than what ever chips/cookies/junk food have been deposited in the kitchen.

That's not food; that's art.
It'd be a shame to eat it and deprive others of it's beauty.
That's what I keep telling myself, anyway.

That's kind of what my mother used to say to me when I would eat the sugar Easter eggs that had decorations inside and out. I don't know if they still make those, but they were works of art. I didn't care though. I just LOVED the sugar! She gave it to me, so I figured I was free to do what I wanted to it

My wife came home yesterday from the market with a bag of heart shaped Reese's peanut butter cups. Reese's is my biggest weakness.

It seems with holidays, birthdays, work and family celebrations, there is not a week without sweet treats.
It tastes sooooo good to eat bad, but feels sooo bad to eat bad.

I would love to be the "designated taster" for any sweets. However I'm sure there is a waiting list (especially on the Clyde/Athena forum) ;-).
