Silly forum question....

Ok, maybe I've been missing it the entire time I've been a member of the forum, BUT is there an easy way to get back to the Clyde Forum from the bottom of a thread?

I'm clicking the "Top" button, then the "Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg)" link in the "ForumBike ForumsClydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg)Post New Thread" area.

Am I missing something?

Not clear what you want.
If the thread is more than one page click on First to get to the first post.

Sorry, I want to go back to the main Clyde Board where it lists all the threads, stickies, and what not.

I was painting the front trim on the house and came in for a quick moment to see what was happening.

The other way (if you are viewing a thread in the clyde forum) is below the "Bike Forums" logo in the top left, just below the Rudy project (or whatever) one-line ad, you will see
"Forum -> Bike Forums ->Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) -Silly forum question...."
and you can click on the "Clydesdales/Athenas (200+lb/91+kg)" title to get to the clydes subforum page.

edit: oops, 10wheels already said that

Yeah, that's the one thing I don't like about dot net forums compared to some of the others.

Others will have the drop down then a "go" button next to it taht takes you back to the clyde menu. This site had a "top button" that takes yoo to the top of the therad. NEver could figure why you would want to go to the top of the thread when yoou ahve already read everything.

IMO, it should be a go button that takes you to the clyde menu, or whatever forum you may be visiting.

There is a dropdown just above the quick reply box that you can choose which sub-forum to navigate to, but it's not very quick to find the Clyde section. Next to that, there is a button that beams you back up to the top of the page, just like Star Trek. From there, click the blue Clyde forum linky described above. Done in less than one second.

I know, but the other way is a one click maneuver and this way is a two click. That could be the difference between winning and losing a race.

The drop down would be great if there were very few forums (5 or so). But this site has too many to make a quick scroll.

I always just hit the back button on my browser. If the thread was multiple pages, I hit the drop-down beside the back button and choose the main forum page from that.

It's on my most visited bookmark page, if I get too far into a thread, I just mouse over the Most Visited button, then click on it and reload.

One reason I don't like using the back button is the threads I've already read are still highlighted.

I just open each thread I want to read as a separate tab. Close the tab and I'm back at the main page.

I just open each topic (thread?) by right clicking on it and picking 'open in new window'. When I finish reading it I just close it, which leaves up the list of threads. Actually, I usually open all the threads I want to read at one time and read each one and close it...
