Weight Limit for Shimano 105 Pedals?
Hello everyone. I am new here and I am looking to get my first set of clipless pedals and shoes. I am currently riding a 1982 Schwinn World road bike. I have been working on losing weight since September of last year. I have gone from 317.6 lbs to 273.4 lbs. When I get down to my ideal weight and have the spare money, I am wanting to get a nice aluminum alloy bike equipped with full Shimano 105. I was therefore thinking about getting Shimano 105 pedals for my current bike that I could swap over to my new bike in about a year. Is there a weight limit for these pedals? Any particular shoes I should try on?

You aren't going to have any problems with those at your weight. I'm on a set of the 540's (basically the same design) at ~265 and have zero problems. The 105's are only going to be built better so I wouldn't worry about it. Shoes are up to you really but I have a pair of Sidis that I have really enjoyed.
Welcome by the way! Where at in Oklahoma are you?
edit: Nevermind, just saw you're one of those Norman people... You should head up here to Stillwater and we'll show you a good time!
