All-time high: 304.5 in May, 2004

01/01 - 210.5
01/08 - 209.5
01/15 - 210.5
01/22 - 208.5
01/29 - 211.0
02/05 - 212.5
02/12 - 208.5
02/19 - 199.0
02/26 - 201.5
03/05 - did not weigh
03/12 - 203.0

I had a couple of weeks that were tough to control, but I feel confident this week things will turn around. For the first time in months I feel like I've got my "mind right," as Strother Martin was fond of saying in Cool Hand Luke.

03/06 = 273.4 lbs
03/13 = 272.4 lbs

It's a loss at least, I was looking better Friday at 271 but had a good time Saturday night with some friends. Accomplished my 10 mile goal this weekend so that was a plus. Heading out for a 20 mile ride Sat. so the time change couldn't have come at a better time. Now I've got time to get some miles in and get on track for this weekend.

Put in 50 miles last week, shooting for 80-90 this week.

I'm back! That was close. I was not a Clyde for about a day and really missed you guys. :-( Well that's one way to look at it. But my waist is still melting away as my dress pants are getiing looser and looser and my belt is 3 knotches smaller. My weight is alot like the stock market. It continues to trend downward so my high points keep being lesser of high points (stocks and weight). I'm just goin to keep on keeping on and watch my stocks (retirement funds) and weight trending downward. yea. :-0

Welcome back, Tony.

I've recently re-upped, myself. But we'll get back down there again. And soon.

See I never knew he had any other lines outside of "What we got here...is a failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach..."

The good news is that even with your mind not being "right" you didn't do much damage at all. Frustrating and disheartening, it's true, but nothing irreversible. What's important is that it looks like you got back on the horse

OK - no fair claiming that you have a fix for evening hunger and not sharing with the rest of the class! C'mon give it up! What's the secret!

On the surface it looks as if I didnt do very well, but AYCE fish fry Friday night and a complete collapse on Saturday really hampered my efforts. I am back on the wagon and am looking forward to this week. Hopefully I will be at 290 or a little under by next week.

I cut back on the carbs (I ate A LOT of carbs!) and bumped up my protein. Shooting for a 50/30/20 ratio (Carbs, Protein, Fats)

Seems to be working ;-)

Max was 255 back in the summer of 2009.

1/04/2011: 194.8
1/10/2011: 195.6
1/18/2011: 195.0
1/24/2011: 191.8
2/01/2011: 191.4
2/07/2011: 189.4
2/15/2011: 194.2
2/24/2011: 191.2
3/02/2011: 191.4
3/07/2011: 188.2
3/15/2011: 189.8

So yeah, I'm bouncing around; but I'm bouncing around on the target side of 190. (Barely.)

With my heaviest weight being somewhere north of 435 lbs. back in the late summer of 2009, I've been working my way down since October of 2009.

1/3 = 280.0
1/10 = 273.4
1/17 = 272.2
1/24 = 271.8
1/31 = 269.6
2/7 = 265.4
2/14 = 271.8
2/21 = 272.0
2/28 = 271.8
3/7 = 262.6
3/14 = 267.0

Not a good meter to go by this week. I had just finished up a weekend that included a lot of partying (eating & drinking) and then a 70 something mile ride that completely kicked my ass. I would have done a century except I injured my left Achilles tendon. Today I was up even higher. It’ll come back around though. My only concern is that my training is interrupted yet again by injury.
