My nephew Rocks!

Yesterday I ended up taking care of my nephew, what did he want to do with Uncle Aaron... What else, bike ride!!!! So off we went to Hall Ranch. He did great, he took all the hard lines and would try every rock on the trail. While I was putting my camera away he turned around and feel into cactus. But being the tough guy he is he wants to go back Saturday. He had a great time. Not bad for 2 y.o.

And you have to love that smile, he loves this sport!

Mr. Beanz, the future has called, and given you notice: There's a new hill-climber coming after you.

Uh, you might want to leave out the part that "he fell into a cactus" to his parents. They may never let you take care of him again.

And to use your own 2 year old nephew as an excuse to get out and ride..., I think you should be proud (I mean ashamed) of yourself ;-).

What fun!!!

My nephew is just under 14 mos.... I've been eyeing bicycles for him since before he was born. So far he absolutely loves the outdoors....birds, wind, trees, rain ..... He's a bit small for cycling but it's just around the corner....

I have adult nieces and a nephew (and even a grand-niece and grand-nephew) - and I didn't have nearly the amount of time to spend with them when they were little (multiple jobs and always in school). There's nothing like seeing the world through the eyes of a little one!!

Enjoy that time and thanks for sharing that!

That is SOOO cute! And he definitely was having a blast with his uncle. I bet he slept like a log that night!

My nephew just got his first bike last Christmas and last I heard, he was running my brother and his wife ragged around the neighborhood. He's a bit older though at 5 yrs. Pity I can't take him with me. That pesky Átlantic between us and all.
