Big feet
Got my new bike today & I'm thinking the next upgrade will be clipless pedals. The problem I am running into is I have big feet - size 50 in road shoes. are there any manufactures that make them in my size that wont break the bank? I know Sidi goes that large but they cost $250 a pair. Any others in the $150 range?
Actually I lied. The very FIRST change will be the 105 brifters I'm having put on this Monday. But after that, it will be clipless pedals.
Undule, on d'Allez, mamma E.I. E.I.

Lake makes road and mtb shoes up to 50. Among other places, you can find them here. (I've no experience with the seller, I just know that they carry the large Lake and other shoes.)

I have size EEEEEE (6E) width feet, so I feel ya...
But this is a solvable problem women commuters encounter all the time.
Solutions:
1) Forget clipless, go with an old-school toe clip. Add a toe-strap for extra security! Or simply go with a BMX pedal and a pair of Powergrips. That gets you 90% of the way to clipless.
2) Get a clipless pedal from a manufacturer who also offers clipless cleats. Attach cleats to your favorite hard-soled shoe. I know of one woman who commutes with a folding bike in stiletto heels - her "comfy heels" have cleats attached by the local shoe repair shop. (Apparently, if you wear high heels everyday, it hurts your feet and legs to go back to flats. Let the woman you love know she looks sexy in sneakers today.)

50, so 14 in US right? I have a pair of size 49 that might work for you. They were too big for me (I wear a 13 EEEE) but I didn't send them back. I ended up with Lake CX170 in a 47Wide, which are snug, but breaking in nicely and should be nice and comfy. At any rate, PM me and we'll work something out.

you can order directly from Lake.
In your case it might be a good idea to send them
an outline of your foot.
I get my Sidis in winter, on sale.

Unfortunately, there isn't a consistent fit amongst manufacturers. I have some Jacques Cousteau flipper feet holding up my 240 lbs. And I feel the frustration of having feet that aren't the "normally stocked sizes" range and having to special order on faith (often paying up front) and hoping they fit well. I wear 14's in most running and dress shoes, but I wear 12.5 to 14 in some manufacturer's combat boots.
Regarding cycling shoes, I wear a 47 in Diadoras, a 48 in Northwaves, newer Shimanos, Lakes (a tad snug in the toes) and a 49 in older Shimanos. I've also tried on Specialized offerings in 49 and I swam in them. My wife threw out my Jurassic era all leather Detto Pietros that were a 48 and had molded to my feet over 15 years (and apparently smelled like it according to her)
Of all the shoes listed, the Northwaves fit ME best (wider toe box but narrower through the instep and heel).
Shimano makes reasonably priced road and mountain shoes in the "I have square footage feet" range (up to 52) as I've seen them in person at https://www.harrellsbicycle.com/ in Columbia SC.

Check Google shopping. You can find Sidi's on sale easily. Also eBay. Or this web site. They price match and all you have to do is put the competitors web site url on to get the price match. Competitive Cyclist has Genius 5 pros for $95 so that would be a good one to get a price match on. Or eBay.
