Saturday ride videos and pics

OK, I'll give you a taste of the "flatter" part of one of my climbing rides. This is from the top of the Indian Hill Road climb up Auburn Folsom Road to the eastern edge of downtown Auburn on High Street. There was a century in progress so I saw many cyclists:

In keeping with tradition, here's a climb. This is one of the two longest climbs on the ride, Lake Clementine Road. Maximum grade was 16% on the first part of the climb:

Banner advertising the start of Stage 3 of the Amgen Tour of California in downtown Auburn:

"Caution Bicycles On The Road" sign in Newcastle. There were several of these in various locations on the ride. They were placed there for the century:

What sunshine?

It clouded up once I started climbing Old Foresthill Road. By the time I started climbing Lake Clementine, it was completely cloudy. Descending was chilly.

Today Stage 1 of the Amgen Tour of California was cancelled due to snow. Tomorrow and the next day they're forecasting garbage Welcome to March!
