03/02/2011 = 430.0 Bought a scale and weighed myself for the first time in over 6 years.
03/14/2011 = 424.6
03/21/2011 = 420.6
04/04/2011 = 417.2
04/11/2011 = 416.4
04/18/2011 = 410.6
04/25/2011 = 410.8
05/02/2011 = 406.4
05/09/2011 = 403.2
05/16/2011 = 405.0
05/23/2011 = 399.4

I woke up this morning, stepped on my scale and saw I was in a new weight class. I even stepped off and weighted myself 2 more times to make sure my scale wasn't misreading. I was very pleased with my progress last week and on my journey so far. I know I still have a long road ahead and I'm looking forward to see what I can do this week.

I'm happy with the steady decrease that's occurring. I started calorie counting so I don't under eat. Sometimes I'm a little over enthusiastic with this weight loss thing, lol.

No official weigh-in for me this week: I'm traveling, far from the scale I believe. That noted, the scale I *don't* believe here at the hotel is giving me some scary numbers!

Did I mention that I'm visiting relatives in the midwest, land of huge portions of hot heaping hospitality?

That sounds like the south as well. Probably one of the contributing factors towards my weight gain... having a skewed view of what a normal portion size should be, hehe.

Started December 2010 at 158.
May 9, 2011 at 135
June 3, 2011 at 131 Very excited. I finally need new underwear as the old stuff is too baggy!

My June goal is 3 pounds, to end the month at 128. As I lose more weight given my height it is harder to do a pound a week. Plus, I am hoping to get some muscle mass at some point!
