Congrats on a happy birthday!
If you and Gina are interested in matching helmets, that aren't ugly (to you) have you considered having a couple helmets custom painted?
I'd assume that the same airbrush paints that are used for Lexan RC car bodies would be safe to use on our helmets. It just won't be sprayed from the inside out so no protection from scratches.

. We had our tandem painted onto the back of a t-shirt $40. 
He had some sweet designs but heck, that's alot of dough.
