Here's a "raw music" ride video

I call this a "raw music" video because it's raw video with plenty of music in the background The annual Sacramento Jazz Jubilee started Friday and lasts until Monday afternoon. The weather sucked on Saturday, but yesterday was perfect, with temps in the 70s. Great conditions for a cruise around the area enjoying the music and looking for interesting things to record

I saw plenty of cyclists. Some of the more interesting sights include a hot pink Catrike recumbent tadpole trike with a GoPro camera mounted on a piece of PVC pipe, a neon green Catrike with a front fairing, a homemade delta trike, a beach cruiser with 3' tall ape hangers, a metallic pink Bike Friday, a dancing road cyclist, a Felt beach cruiser with taxi markings, and street drummers "The Petting Zoo", who use garbage cans, recycle bins, plastic buckets, beer kegs, wine bottles, and other containers as drums. They also used metal dustpans and metal garbage cans lids for additional sounds. There were plenty of friendly dogs to pet too

Thanks all I think that tall dog was a Great Dane. I had a great time. After I made that video I rode over to 11th and O Streets to watch old school funk band Con Funk Shun's street concert. Of course my handlebar-mounted Playsport dealt with that perfectly, but I'm even more impressed with the sound quality of my Sony voice recorder that records in 192 kbps mp3 format. Now I have some great old school jams to listen to while riding (in my right ear only, of course).
