Me 6' 271.2

my Commuter/utility. I just get on an ride for errands, and put on the clipless shoes for longer rides/commutes Started as '82 nishiki and got a remake a few years ago. First version had flatbar....that gave wrist pain. So checkout the current bars. 8 speed with friction thumbshifter. Wheels are 32 spoke, deore hubs and Sun cr18 rims

the road bike. 89 Miyata 1400 upgraded to ultegra 9spd triple STI (shows the barcons in this pic) 32 spoke ultegra hubs with velocity deep v rims.

Now I've got to post mine. Had a nasty fall today, both the bike and child are ok. I'm going to be bruised for a little bit. This one is at the park a few weeks ago.

Thanks, feeling very stiff and bruised today. I switched out the bars for some flipped albatross bars those didn't have enough sweep for this setup. The sproggle is great, just was a little shaken up. The peapod is great protection. She keeps poking the goose egg on my knee saying papa wawa. Mom was with us and was worried about me than anything. 400 pounds of bike, kid and me going over is quite the fall.

The bike is fine, just had to fix the brakes a bit. Hopefully will go for a shakedown ride tomorrow if I can hold more weight on my knee.

I cant be the only clyde that rides SSFG?! This is my converted '87 Schwinn LeTour, less about half of its original parts. Although dont worry, I kept all the originals so I can return the bike to stock if need be.

Fixed riding is wayyyy different, but I came from riding BMX as a kid, so it wasnt that far of a stretch for me. After riding SS most of my life, I picked up a flipflop rear hub just in case. The flipflop hub is a great option to have so you can switch about depending on where/how far you plan to ride.

Glad the little one's okay. May I ask, what kind of kickstand are you using? My son recently graduated to a Trail-a-Bike and loading/unloading can be a real PITA.
