Farmer's market ride with my daughter

I had been riding my recumbent exclusively due to my neck issue, but things have improved enough that I rode my LHT to the farmer's market.

My daughter and I rode in warm, humid, overcast weather. She complained about some of the hills, but enjoyed the ride overall.

I bought some sweet corn, grass-fed beef, and coffee stout mustard. Yes, it's mustard made with coffee stout from Bluegrass Brewing Company.

We then rode to the hardware store for a few things, then to a coffee shop for a snack. By the time we got home we had in 8.7 miles. Not too many miles and we never got rained on.

She has to work later, so I'll ride down and enjoy some locally brewed beer.

dcrowell, A bicycle ride can be many, many things. One most often forgotten is the short trip simply to run errands. The coffee stout mustard sounds VERY interesting, I've never heard of it.

Second the interest in the mustard.

Glad to hear you got out on your LHT. My new one arrived at the LBS yesterday and I waited all day for the phone call to come and get it. Never came. Not open Sunday and I have to work 12 hour shifts Mon. & Tues. I won't get out of work until the shop is long closed.

Now have to put off finally meeting my LHT until Wed.!

Sounds like a wonderful time with your daughter, congrats. I hope one day my daughter will be cool enough to ride with her old dad. LOL
