I Did It!

After 20 years and losing 112 lbs, I got on my bike. Pretty shaky to start with but wow, what a feeling.

Congratulations! I hadn't been in a bike in years either. It's more fun today than it was when I bought it a month ago. Hell, it's more fun now than when I was a kid. I don't even have cards in my spokes this time!

Keep up the good work.

WOOT! I know when I hoped on my bike the first time at the LBS I felt like I was 10 years old again.

2 months in and I am up to 10 miles at a time.

Hey Zag - Would it be bad for a 36 year old to put some cards in the spokes? lol

Naw, it's cool. Sometimes I'm tempted to make vroom vroom sounds while stopped at intersections.
