Thankful to all my friends

I was reflecting on where I was when I started riding about two months ago and where I am now and thinking about all the firends I made, who I am truely thankful for. I dont think I would be where I am at right now without them. Cycling has been hard for me to get back into since being a big out of shape guy but with this forum and friends, its a recipe for success.

Thank you, Neil, for taking me on one of my first rides. It was a great experiance to ride with you, hear about your stories and adventures and you made it fun to ride with.

Thank you Chris as well for teaching me about mechanics, helping me with my bike and fiting and being a great person.

Thank you Will for always keeping us on track where we go so we dont get lost (no offense Chris!). Your your wife is so fast on a bike.

Thank you Ray for coming over to ride with us. We had a wonderful time!

James T: Thank you for the company last Saturday on the ride to and from DE. It was great talking with you!

Sayre: Your story amazes me and I hope to someday be able to slim down.

I am truely blessed to have you all as friends and to all the friends on the clyesdale forums. I left all my friends in Seattle when I came out to NJ which left a hole in my heart and I have been homesick for a while but it truely makes it easier when you have great friends here. Thank you all!

I had a blast with you guys, can't wait to ride again! If I could just knock these weddings and birthday parties off my schedule things would be much easier :)

Same here Chef. Just moved up to PA myself and while I've been a member of the forums for a little while I hadn't actually met anyone in person. I'm glad that I did. Everyone I've met so far has been genuinely nice and very accepting of new people. Cycling has a way of being very cliqueish(I think I just made up a word?) so It's really cool meeting and riding with people who accept all comers. Looking forward to some more rides with everyone!

Ditto to all of the above, I have found that the social aspect of riding in a group is a great thing.

OK, group hug!
