Wii Fit Called me Fat

My wife loves Wii Fit. I've never really considered getting into it. The other day, I was curious, so I created an account on it. I stepped onto the balance board. The Wii Fit comes back and says, "That's obese."

Guess, if the Wii Fit says so

My wii fit can go die in a suicidal leap from the ESB. It told me I gained weight when I got on it after coming back from a jog.

I would say I don't have a Wii, but that could be misconstrued.

There's something I need to get. For those that don't know, less than two years ago I was over 430 pounds. There was no way I could participate in Wii Fit activities because the balance board would have been crushed. I told myself that when I got thin enough, I would get a Wii Fit. I'm down around 270, but still haven't done so. Guess I should get on that.

It's got more to do with being balanced than being fit... I wouldn't bother.

My kids were trying to get me on it the other day but I didn't want to be called any names, so I demurred.

That sucks. Similarly, I plugged all my stats into my handheld body fat meter and it simultaneously told me that I have 15% bodyfat (pretty good if you ask me), but my BMI is in the "Very High" category.

I have Wii Fit (Plus - we upgraded when it came out), though I haven't used it much recently. The cardio parts aren't that great - I'd rather bike - but I have found the yoga and strength exercises to be useful, and the games are fun. I suffered from some back pain a couple of years ago, and it helped me to get rid of it (using exercises focusing on the core muscles).
