Ok rode today was a good day to start the month nice and warm, but most likely won't get any more this weekend as I broke spoke and shop most likely can't fix till Tuesday.

I guess put me in for 250. I think I might do more than that though. It has only been 3 days, and I have already gone 63 miles. Im starting up college in a week, and Im not sure how that is gonna affect me.

I'm shooting for 250, although that might be a little optimistic. I did 200 in August, but I've only ridden 7 miles in September due to busy days at work and a wedding yesterday.....

As it has been the long weekend, the wife has decided to join me on both rides so far this month. Today we clocked off what has to be my longest ride for absolutely years.....really, likely since I was in my twenties, and it is certainly the longest ride my wife has EVER done. 25km/h headwinds for a good 1/4 of the ride, a couple of fairly short but nasty climbs and a puncture on the wife's bike have left us both looking like a couple ready to claim some kind of limited mobility benefits
We are happy to have done it though!

9/6 - Rode hwy 1 from Santa Cruz, 23 miles up the coast, then back. Almost collided with a coyote that crossed the hwy just feet in front of me. My riding buddy broke 3 spokes on his rear wheel. We met a cycling couple that left Vancouver, Canada 6 weeks ago...on their way to Mexico.
