    1/3 of the way there

    I realized the other day that I have lost 1/3 of the weight I want to eventually lose.

    Yay! I'm still trying to get my head around it.

    June: 265
    October: 235
    the next step: 205
    goal: 175

    I ride a few days a week.
    I use an online calorie/nutrition tracker (thedailyplate).
    I eat 1800 - 2000 calories a day (sometimes I fall off the plate, so to speak).

    awesome. congrats. it's these landmarks that help us(me) to stay on track because you know where you are with your progress...helps me to not slip, i only want to see that landmark ONCE, going down in weight. it's also nice to celebrate progress. i know my family and friends are tired of hearing me trumpet my small biweekly goals, but celebrating them keeps me happy about my progress and so i'm less likely to feel like I'm torturing myself or like i'm failing because i'm not skinny yet. keep on truckin! that's good solid progress!
