Trek 3 series?

I've been looking at getting a Trek 3700 as my first bike since High School (29 now).
I like that it had 36 spoke rims stock, but I can't find anything that says if they are double or single walled. Can someone tell me?

Alternately what hybrid style bikes will work for a 350 30 inch inseam clyde?
I like mountain bike styling but think I want a slightly more upright riding position for commuting to work and back.

I have the Trek 7.3fx and have about the same inseam. I am about 280lbs and use it for commuting it holds me an all my crap just fine.

What is the 7.3s riding position like? From the trek website it looks a little more leaned forward than I am looking for. I was hoping for something more upright.

I am similar in measurements and just got a Specialized Crosstrail which is working out well for me...
