Checking back in
I dropped off the face of the internet a few months ago due to school and life. I just wanted to check in. Life's been crazy with school and the holidays. It's been grand. I do have to admit I haven't been on the bike since September. I did manage to do a few half centuries before I hung the bike but it's cold here and I'm a wuss. I have however been doing well on the diet front. I've actually dropped below the Clyde line but I'd like to stick around because you guys rock.
Anyhow, after reading that I realize it didn't flow well. I just wanted to say hello again.

This is the internet, not an English class. No worries about the flow.
Occasionally I'll see a post from somebody who is functionally illiterate. Or from the guy who wants us to believe he is a red necked hillbilly who lives in an old RV. Y'all unnerstan don'ch?
But those people don't post here.

Welcome back. I haven't been on here in a while. Your post is almost one I was about to write. Cold weather, feeling too fat to ride, gets dark early, etc were all of my excuses why I haven't ridden. Actually, today is the first day I have been to the site in well over a month I think. I haven't touched my bike since Sept as well, except to go to the convienence store 1/4 mile each way. But since you have kept up with your diet, that is highly commendable and congrats on dropping below the Clydes mark. I probably gained the little I lost so I haven't been on a scale.
Keep up the good diet work. Think of it as most of a lifestyle change then a diet. You'll keep with it better.
Maybe I'll have to take the ol' road bike for a spin now...
