ITS REAL, ITS REAL! Thanks for the proof, let the good times roll.

We have three dogs. When they get loose I go herd them up with the mountain bike. Its a blast.

The bike looks pretty good. :thumb:

The cat on the other hand appears to be a tad pampered ?
:)

haha i wouldn't say pampered he just owns everything i do including my life... he is just turning 2 in that photo and he still acts like a kitten. Photo doesn't show it but he is big, 6 kilos and bigger than most small dogs

Cheers on the bike,

Great bike and awesome kitty! I see people riding around with dogs in bike baskets or trailers but never a cat. I can imagine how badly riding with a cat in a basket would go: the ride is a blur because the cat is gripping your face. Hmm hmm maybe a howling trailer is embarassing but you get to keep your skin. Well, until you open the trailer.

Tickle your cat's tummy for me!

Very pretty. I've never seen that color combination on a bike. It reminds me of the orange and black of the Philadelphia Flyers ice hockey team. (Sigh. When will Lord Stanley's cup come home to Philly?)

hockey hockey ... that is the game where the US and Canada run around with sticks on ice and beat each other right ? :)

yea the colour combo is very strange seems to be primarily on some trek, i like it =) it stands out

Yes, as opposed to the Canadian game with fat men pushing brooms on ice. That's curling.

BTW, I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out....

'Tis a bit strange looking isn't it. Just happened to be the only wedge bag at the LBS that would fit the spare tube, tyre levers and patch kit. I have no idea what the little white dots are all about. Just glad I had it all there as I had my first flat on the way home the other night ! Windscreen glass. Grrr Say, does that make me a real cyclist now

I think the dots are to make you more visible to Aussie drivers. Are they reflective?

tergal 02-07-12 11:04 PM

nope u aren't a cyclist in Australia i don't think till u hit a patch of bottle glass, that goes straight though the tires.

Actually just a thought if u have the stock tires like i did u may want to look at tyre liner. i found the stock ones for my bike to be way to soft for my ass+ glass i ended up switching to maxis for road riding. YMMV but

@ Neil Mine had the dots to , they arent really reflective i dont know what they are for .. so i put a bit of reflective tape over it . same tape they is around my pump and water bottles.

I didn't think you were a cyclist in Australia until you hit a kangaroo.

tergal's right Neil, they're not reflective. Just some pointless collection of white dots on the end of the bag. Covering them with reflective tape sounds like a great idea so I might do that when I get some lights on the thing so I can get about at night.

As for tyres I've been looking at trying some Schwalbe Marathon Plus for when these wear out. I like the fact that the tyre is 110kg load rated and can run 50~85PSI

If the Bruins can survive the Eastern conference to reach the final, they will repeat.
