Who's doing the Chilly Hilly this year?

I know there are a number of Clydes and Athenas from the Pacific Northwest, who hang out in this sub-forum. Most of you are already aware of the Chilly Hilly, no doubt. Will you be doing the ride this year?

For everyone else: on Feb 26, we're going to bring our bikes onto a ferry boat, cross about five miles of Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island, and ride our bikes around the perimeter of the island. There will be a quaint little town, shoreline, woods, and lots of rolling hills. It's not too late to come visit Seattle. ;)

If you're a Point 83 pirate, it isn't the "Chilly Hilly," but the "****ing Hills Race."

Here are pics (not mine) from previous rides.

I'll be there. Probably riding my CX bike this year, so look for me on my pink/brown singlespeed.

I'll be there, probably riding with CliftonGK1. :)

Count me out. I've done it in the past, but for me at least, it's just too crowded. Bainbridge is beautiful, but it's lousy for riding IMHO. Cram a few thousand riders in there all at once and the fun/comraderie factor only goes so far.

Not that I'm some sort of misanthropist or anything, but if the weather is cooperative I can ride just about anywhere else in Kitsap County and have the whole place to myself.

Understandable on the crowding thing, Chris. That's the reason I won't ride STP after having done it a few years ago when the cap was 1500 fewer riders than now.

CH is the only big group ride I get into. It's short enough at only 33 miles that I don't mind if it's all plugged up and slow moving. Even a slow 33 miler is still under 3 hours, so it's not like a whole day is shot from it. CH is really more of an opportunity for me to hang out with keithm0 than anything else.
