2011 Mavis Aksiums
 

I'm looking at getting a set of 2011 Aksiums. There was at least one change in the 2012 year that I think made these wheels lighter. But I believe there was also some type of change in 2011 and they moved the assembly or something to Asia. Anyway, I know Aksiums usually have a good name for being strong but I thought I read that starting in this 2011 year the durability became terrible. However, I can't seem to find those posts now. Anybody have experience with this specific year's model?

I may post another thread outlining my choices but, for what it's worth, I'm looking for some training and commuting wheels and I'm about 6'5" and 195 lbs.
