It has been a lousy week so far.
I've been sick (finally starting to recover) and it has been raining.
Break in the rain yesterday, so I jumped on it....flatted out after only 6 miles...argh
Ended up getting only 9 miles in...
191 MTD
Still more rain in the forecast and family commitments this weekend will make riding a challenge.
I need a break!

260+ lbs, i should post more in this section i guess.... maintaining this weight while riding this much is absurd (my diet is laughable at times). But that's another story, for another thread.

this month is on track to be a record breaker.

I'm signed up for the 5 boro so I'm training to be well accustomed for the (albeit) slow (35k riders!) 40 miles involved.

I rode my single longest ride to date this month.

46.23 miles on the 11th, GPS shows 3,600+ feet of climb.

https://astoriahd.blogspot.com/2012/0...ersey-and.html

234.9 miles MTD, resting yesterday, and today.

605.2 YTD

(Last year I tracked 2,600+ miles with SportyPal.)

I do not think so. It might happen but I am traveling two days next week and also a week at the end of the month.

Have you done the 5 boro? I heard it was crazy. Please let me know about it when you are done with the ride.

You were hiding how many miles you had for this month. Now you're 43 miles ahead of me... I need to go out and do some miles this weekend. Maybe 2 centuries or so.... (Don't hold your breath)

Added 13 slow miles! Had to mostly take the week off. 3 weeks ago a wisdom tooth decided to become infected (impacted and laying on its side),
2.5 weeks ago had it and a molar next to it removed in an emergency surgery because the infection was getting worse while on antibiotics plus the Dentist changed my antibiotics to something stronger. 1.5 weeks ago had a post op appt. and all was fine except that I was still in pain. 1 Week ago started developing a sore throat. Monday night went to my Dr. to get the sore throat assessed, turned out to be a yeast infection due to likely too much antibiotics and/or Advil. Today finally no more sore throat but jaw still hurts. Muscle pain as well as I think a dry socket. All this healing and the associated drugs just beat me up. I'll be taking it easy for likely another week so as to use my energy to heal. Sure felt good to finally get back on the bike.

Coming into this tread a little late this month, but might actually make 100 bike and running miles. So far this month I have 27 miles running and 56 mile on the bike for a grand total of 83 miles.

I've had a slew of flats on my upright so I'm behind on my distance.

On the positive side, I should be able to pick up my new delta trike (Greenspeed Anura) tomorrow and start hammering out the klicks on that. Then, once I have managed to afford to put all of the necessary commuting bling on the trike, I'll put the upright in the shop to see if there's a problem with the wheel which is causing the flats.

Added 35 miles in 2 hours this morning, putting me at 123 miles thus far. So happy. I think I'll try to round out the month around 150-175; I'd like to squeeze in a metric century if I can get a buddy to join along.
