With the first two months behind us, its time.... time to get the bike out and ride.

This month, its about revisiting the love of riding. Perhaps you have not ridden all year or maybe you have ridden a lot. This month, its about enjoying the ride while enjoying the satisifaction of getting the miles in.

Since I seem to have discipline and balance back in my life (for the most part), I think I'm going to push the envelope. Weather permitting, I'm going to shoot for my first 500 mile month since March 2011.

I'm in and shooting for 400 this month. I barely eeked out 300 in Feb. due to work and weather issues. March doesn't seem like its going to be much better but with the time change on the 10th, at least there'll be more evening ride time available.

Lets see in 31 days... I want 1000 miles. So that is 32.25806451612903 miles a day. I'll be happy with say 300-500 miles. I want at least 2/3 of it to be road miles. (No jokes here, I really want 1000 miles.)

OK, since I wasn't prepared to put my hand up for either January or February, I'm in for March. I managed 186km (115 miles ) in January and 203km (126 miles ) in February so I really want to shoot for 240km or 150 miles for the month... We'll see how it goes.

Yes, I'm in (again).

593 miles in 2012 so far, would be nice to tip over 1000 by the end of this month but not sure if it's a sensible proposition what with a few commitments coming up. 300 would be nice.

I'm in for 300 km again this month.

My goal this month is not to have to push for my distance towards the end of the month like I did in January and February.

I'll aim for 200 this month. I actually have a mancation planned with some friends and we're going to bring bikes to Vegas. That should help the ol' mileage total. No kids!

I am going for 200. I'll only have good riding through March 11. March 12 and 13 I'll be in San Antonio. Then I have company on a birding venture until March 28. Then I am headed back up north and will be driving through the end of the month. So, I'll be doing good to hit the 200.

I have a 75 mile ride at the beginning of June so the March break will be good and I can start riding hard in April if the weather is nice enough in southern Iowa, my next stop for a couple of months. I love riding there. Little traffic and nice hills. I haven't been on a hill since October.

I'm going for 300 this month. Work schedule is looking lighter for this month, that paired with Spring Break I think will cut away some miles. Spring Break could have me out and about riding but at the same time it could not, so we'll see how that goes.

I'll have another go at it again this month. Goal for February was 150 miles and I wound up doing 181 miles, so I think I'm pretty safe in setting a goal of 200 miles for March.

I have to admit it was fun having some motivation to reach a goal, and watching others progress as the month went on. Looking forward to doing it again for March.
