Watch out for the Big Guy on the new bike!

Hey guys. Thanks so much for all the suggestions over the last few weeks in my search for a new bike. I got my wife involved and we spent Saturday browsing around at a few LBS and ended up bringing home 2 new bikes. A Trek Pure WSD for her (she's 5'1" and wanted to be closer to the ground) and a Trek 8.3 DS for myself. We went for a 2 mile slow ride yesterday and it was great. I did the same route again this morning and I am really enjoying the new ride.

And since threads are worthless without pictures:

Congratulations on the new bike! I just got a bike myself and my wife is wanting a Trek Pure. Hope your wife loves it.

Keep up the riding.

Thanks guys. I know it's been said before but I don't know if I could've/would've gotten back into biking without this Forum or this previously unheard of group of Clydesdales. The selfconscienceness in me always thought cycling was only for youngsters and racers. Reading all of the great stories gave me the confidence to just get out there and do it. Hopefully, in the years to come, I can help inspire others the way that many of you have influenced me.
