6 more today. Even after coming back up from sea level to 4700 ft, I didn't lose too much pace. Slowed from a race pace last weekend of 10:55 to 11:17 today.

I was glad however it was only 6. Have to do 10 next Saturday, and that will be at a much slower pace.

Only a few weeks left u til the half marathon, am kinda scared and excited all at the same time. I am estimating my completion time to be around 2.5 hours, and I have never run that long...ever. Kinda scary.

Days of driving and staying in Walmart parking lots is not conducive to either biking or running.

April 2: 1/2 hour brisk walk/run, alternating 90 seconds to three minutes.
April 4: Twenty minutes of walk/run over the course of 1.4 miles. (4.2 mph) Pokey me. Strolled two miles with spouse.
Off for days, traveling
April 9: 33 minutes of walk/run over the course of 2.25 miles. (about 4mph) Still pokey. Strolled with spouse a mile or two. Put bike together and went for a short 4.25 ride. Forgot to connect the front brakes.
April 11: 20 minutes of run/walk, another 25 of mostly walk and a little run. Don't know how far. Had a stomach ache the whole time and it was pretty much an effed up experience. I wanted to bike but I was too cold.

Too much of a PITA to track as I walk every day to get around town (e.g., walk to work, walk to have lunch in the park, walk to the gym, walk to the grocery store, walk to happy hour, walk home, walk to the movies), sometimes 5 miles a day or more. Last month we walked about 6 miles round trip to have dinner. I also use my bike to get around and don't feel like being bothered keeping track of the miles. Then there are weekend road rides. I also use the eliptical when I go to the gym.

I get around a lot by my own power. That's what's important to me, not the actual stats.

Put in another 5.3 miles tonight, but I slowed down some due to my gut hurting for part of the run. Also, need to put in a small make up run for the one I missed earlier in the week. It kind of messed with my schedule missing one day, but sometimes life gets in the way.

Gonna have to start taking the HR strap along now that the temp is rising.

Did a 5.5 mile run tonight with a little surprise . I was just about a mile into my run when I looked over and there was a guy running right next to me. He looked at me and said, "God, you were hard to catch". We chatted for about the next mile or so and I found out he was an experienced marathon runner training for an ultra. It made me feel good about my running pace at least, even though it was a little slower tonight.
