Exactly why I got my new duds! Test rode the bibs yesterday to see how much if any difference they made while riding. Did 23 miles. Felt pretty comfy. Going to use them for my metric but bringing along my trusty old Trek shorts JUST IN CASE....

and shouldn't you be stalking the UPS guy?

Now that you have your bike...maybe...let's do this! I just have to arrange the ride on a day I'm not obligated to my cycling club.

i'm in. Let's do late July or early Aug and some weekend early (PJ has to figure out how to pedal first, right?). I bet we could find a bunch of people who want to do it if we squawk loud enough for a few weeks.

If we can find the right day, I'm in. I'm nervous, though. I don't think I have nearly enough miles in yet to be ready, especially on the 12-25 that came on the bike. I don't like failing, but if you never try...........

Have to check with the social committee to see when I have a free weekend morning. We tend to pack a lot into the summers while the girls are out of schools. Stay tuned.

I am really nervous about trying this too. I figure we are all in a similar boat that way... We can encourage and support each other in conquering GMR at least to the Shack (hope I can make it that far...as I failed miserably with the hills on my Metric ride)
