Questions about Garmin Edge 800

In the electronics, lighting and gadgets forum I posted my questions about buying an edge 800: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...-800-questions

Got one excellent response but would appreciate any thoughts you folks might have.

Mine just arrived yesterday so no real feedback on its use.

I did set it up and mount it, but waiting on some tires for my new wheels so haven't take a ride yet.

The set up was easy, but it did require two updates right out of the box. (I find that typical for garmin products)

Screen is easy to read outside and seems to move from screen to screen easily. Te touch also seems responsive, not like, the garmin 605 which I feel as if I have to ma**** to get a good touch.
