The ride just keeps on getting better
Well I intended to ride 100 miles today, but I ran out of road at 65km on the way out. Fortunately there was a guy with atvs who knew of a few mtb trails. So I rode a little on those, rode out across the estuary at low tide to a small island, rode back, then head home. Came home with 126km on the computer and had a blast not only riding on the road but also the trail and the sand. Stunning scenery along the way as well.
New personal best distance and I got to have fun in dirt and sand doing it. The ride just gets better. I do notice that anything over 100km and its less about your body and more about how determined you are just to keep going.

I'll be hitting the road for a new PR myself tomorrow... should be about 80-90 miles and depending on how I feel, I'll make it a 100 just because.
I agree though - at some point, wheels are turning, pedals are turning... just keep going.
