Hello! New to the forums
Hello all, my name is Jeff and I'm new to the forums here though I've been reading here for a while. Been working on getting back into shape after getting up to my all time high weight some time last year, and having not been on the bike regularly for a couple years. I started last Dec with changing how I was eating and tracking and keeping myself accountable to how much I was consuming. That got me down about 25lbs in a about 3 months, but I've been stalled out at that for the past couple months now so I've finally started throwing the exercise factor in to the mix, and have been feeling pretty good, though I haven't seen any real movement on the scale yet.
Keep at it and welcome to the forum.
What kind of bike do you ride? Pictures.
Good job on the weight loss. I'm at a similar point myself. Keep after it, it is definitely worth it to feel better. I find that I am missing the bike riding when I can't do it (like this past week when I've been watching kids while the wife is out of town). Keep up the good work, and welcome to the forum.
you will get there bro!
I'm riding a Trek 1500 got it four years ago did a ton of riding that summer, and then not so much after that. As you can see in the picture have tried to ride the trainer in the winter but, found that it was especially terrible after getting out of regular riding shape. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7223/7...c3fed1bb_z.jpg

....and you DONT need to ride the trainer in the winter time! A mtn bike will work just fine and you will LOVE riding in the winter!
welcome to the group. nice bike, personally i tried the trainer too and just didnt enjoy it, also dont enjoy being cold an sweaty either. so i didnt ride all winter.
good luck, sometimes a plateau is just that. and even with a change in the routine it takes a couple of weeks to see the difference.
