Roger doger, that's a big 10-4 Buddy, come on back. Over.

I haven't a clue what we're talking about.

Time for another triple espresso with 3 tablespoons of white sugar.

Heck, nobody in the road forum knows what the heck they're talking about half the time anyway. Doesn't stop them either!

Sorry. I've been working down at Disneyland since Tuesday night. If you saw any of the media coverage of the Carsland grand opening, you probably saw the reporters actually on the ride. I was part of the team that made all that possible. Tough work, but fun. Looongggg days. Usually 7am thru midnight or later. But, the mouse is happy, and that's what we care about. We're also doing the cameras on the ABC tightrope project at 9pm pacific tonight. Hope this guy doesn't fall off into Niagara Falls. Our cameras are really expensive!!!!

Now, on to the question at hand. I DON'T KNOW WHERE MY &%($&#^ BIKE IS!!!!! Actually, I only say it that way because I'm so anxious for it to get here. I got a note from Don saying it is close to being done. I then got the final invoice. Paid that. I'm hoping to get a message any day that it has shipped. We're still right on target for what Don promised, so I'm not upset. Just really anxious.

Went for a really long, really hilly ride today and thought, gosh, I wonder how this would be on a nice modern Ti frame? (I have a decidedly old Ti frame that I retired in favor of a roubaix)

I was going to send you a PM and ask you.

Patience grasshopper.

Cool! I tell you, the most interesting things go through my mind when I'm going that fast... and usually I can't see the speedo so it's something I have to look up when I get home.

So your wife was going 40 also?

Shows R230's "shipping 6/18" (TODAY!!!!!). Fine print, allow 48 hours for finishing. So the polishing process and decals - 2 days. HOPING it ships on Wednesday. ARGH! I am NOT a patient person!

Oh, and they're building it, so that may be a day.

SO lessee... shipping UPS Slow Boat on Thursday means you'll get it next Wednesday or so.

Odds are the UPS guy will sneak up to your house during the 35 seconds that you're in the backyard and you won't hear him, leaving you with the dreaded "missed delivery" slip. I had to ambush the mail man when he delivered my frame - he had it on his damn truck and didn't leave it! I chased him down the street and he said "Oh yeah"

Good luck!

Haha. Actually, I have a really good relationship with the UPS guy. We take care of him, he takes care of us. He'll sign for stuff if we're not home, put stuff in the back yard, etc. Besides, he usually hits our neighborhood pretty late in the afternoon, when I have a chance of being home. He's been very consistent in his timing.....

Yah, I'm screwed! This will be the one day he shows up way early and has an observer with him so he can't do anything that isn't "by the book". Ugh!

hmm doesnt shipping mean shipping....seems all the build and polishing would be done before they listed a ship date...but maybe I live in my own little world where thats whats expected of me

I thought so at first, too. And I agree that it could be worded differently. However, I get what they're doing. There are several finish options and decal/etch options that they leave the completed frame in raw state and finish them off to the customer's specs. I don't care what they call it, I don't have mine yet and I want it NOW! Did I mention that I'm not a very patient person?

And again, they're right on schedule for what they promised. The days just aren't clicking by fast enough for my taste!
