Looking for information and feed back

Greetings,
Just over a year ago I started a self transformation project. In just over a year I have lost 101 one pounds. I have another 115 to go to attain the goal weight of 215, but I'm pleased with what I have done so far.
I quit smoking 3 days ago. I'm determined to make that stick time. Right now I'm in the midst of a nicotine craving so severe that it is driving me a little bit crazy, but I WILL NOT GIVE IN TO IT.
Sorry, had to get that out of my system. On to the reason for this post: I've gotten bloody sick of riding my exercise bike, and am looking at buying a bike that I can, and will, ride outside. My concern is that despite the weight loss I have achieved so far, I still weigh 335 pounds. Doing a bit of research today I was most intrigued by these bikes, they all fit into the price limitations I'm working with:
Trek Allant,
Trek Atwood,
Trek Navigator
Trek 7100.
I live in Memphis, which is a mostly flat city. I don't have any real interest in off road riding at this time. What I am looking for is a steady, dependable machine for exercise, recreational rides. Eventually, I will want to do some light touring, etc, but I know that is in the future. I would truly appreciate any thoughts about the models mentioned, or any other recommendations.

Cormac

Wow! That's some great work! Sorry though I can't offer any suggestions on your list of bikes... There others on this board that I'm sure have direct experience...

Good luck and keep up the work!

Wow! Thats pretty significant weight loss! As far as bikes go, you pick rather one that feels best to you.

Congrats on quitting smoking. Hardest thing I've ever done. On the fourth day I wanted to lie on the floor and flop like a fish. After one month I somehow knew I was truly quit of smoking. It's been 29 years.

Awesome on the weight loss and good luck on staying off the cigs.

dont know about any of those bikes, but there will be another clyde to help. I will say buy the best one you can now, as upgrading will get expensive.

I know many people that bought the trek FX 7.2

It seems like a very versatile fitness bike that can be adapted to off road, commuting, or on road going fast.
