Annuder Trail Ride (Sunday)

Nice summer day. Set out for a slow ride but ended up doing pretty well. Heck, Gina lifted the pace late in the ride, even got a 3rd pr on strava. Not bad for setting out slow, Bridge to bridge 19.8 average.

Bah! You wind aided cheat! Congrats. That's hauling.

One of these days I'l have to try that leg later than 7 am. It's amazing how the time of day can affect your ride times going TO the beach (early better) and back. I'm sure that's my problem - wind. Yep. Wind.

Yep! BY the time we start it's 11 am or so. I've been on the trail hours earlier and the headwind to the coast is much lighter. But getting Gina up early to ride is like pulling a tooth. Heading inland first, then from Imperial (12 noon) to the coast is pretty narly.

If it were me alone, I' be on the trail at least 2 hours earlier.
