I don't know if a metric half century is a thing...

But I rode one today. It's a personal best for me. 52km, 32.6 miles. If it hadn't gotten dark I feel like I could have cranked out another 10 miles.

A metric half-century is not a thing, but a 52km ride sure is!

I vote that we officially classify a metric half-century as a "thing".

Great ride. You should be proud.

So what's your next thing going to be?

I like to use centimeters. So you did 500,000 cm. or one half of a mega cm.

Great job.

Do you use Strava to track progress? I just got two PR's in two days on the same 1.4 mile segment; outbound yesterday afternoon, inbound this morning.

Congrats on the milestone! It is the thing until you ride farther.

Anything can be a thing, as long as you make your thing that thing.

Good job! Do it two more times, then add that 10 more miles!
