    Louis Garneau Clydesdale Contender Jersey

I did a quick search that didn't reveal anything specific to this jersey that I recently bought and thought I would share with others that might be looking for the same.

After many years of searching I can finally say I have a full zip jersey that actaully fits me! I bought the 2xl and I have plenty of room, probably could have gotten away with an XL - never in my life would I have expected this in bike clothing! I have a 52 chest and a 42 waist.

    http://www.louisgarneau.com/us-en/pr...L_JERSEY#third

The quality appears to be the same as the normal sized LG stuff - which is quite good. This jersey is a good option for those that are looking for something a little nicer than the big performance/nashbar/aerotech shirts and these also have a full zipper. Now if their clydesdale line included bib shorts I'd be in heaven.

Thanks for the heads up! I have a Garneau jersey that I like quite a bit - not sure which model it is though.

I have a 52-54 chest and 42ish waist, too. 3XL Aero Tech Designs sleeveless jersey fits me fine. Will have to look at LG stuff too when more needs come up. Thanks for the tip, that is useful.

Where do clydes tend to buy their jerseys/bibs? I know about nashbar, but was looking for other websites. I wear a 3xl in my Bontrager jerseys that I bought from the LBS, but they don't normally carry stuff that fits.

    I wear 2xl t-shirts and a 40-42" waist.

I have ordered from both Amazon and Aero Tech Designs websites and have had success with both. ATD has an amazing selection of big man sized stuff. If there are other good big man's websites that anyone knows about, I would be interested in checking them out, too.

Actually, the jerseys I ordered from Amazon were ATD jerseys too, that is where I found them first. 3XL Sleeveless lightweight cycling jerseys with 14 inch zipper front. I like the yellow, it is a bright canary yellow, very visible in traffic. I have ordered shorts (Pearl Izumi and ATD) on Amazon and gloves direct from ATD. Like you, I didn't see my sizes in the LBS I go to. I like ATD's customer service and that many of their products are manufactured in USA (though not all, the gloves were not).

I don't have experience with BDI jerseys. If you end up getting them and like them, let us know - more options to choose from is always nice, especially for big man's stuff which can be harder to find.

Our Road Holland Hilversum Jerseys run up to XXL and they are made with a lightweight wool mesh that really stretches. The Jersey is designed to be loose fitting, so even the XXXL guy should be fine to wear it! (The women's version runs up to XL and has matching colors)

I got one of my BDI 2XL shirts today and it was extremely tight. I wear a 2xl tshirt, so it was probably a large, when comparing the two. i like my jerseys a little loose, not extremely tight. It looks like I will have 2 BDI tshirts that are size 2xl that don't fit, one green, one white. I did order some ATD shirts off amazon and I hope they fit.

I received my 3 Aero-tech design (ATD) shirts today all in 3xl and they fit great. I went to my LBS earlier and tried on a couple 2xl LG jerseys and they were VERY form fitting. I like my stuff a litte loose.

Glad the ATD's worked out for you. I like mine too (am about to put one on for the commute ride home). They have been through the wash quite a few times and still look like new. Our washer is High Efficiency with a fast spin cycle, so they are almost dry out of the washer, and I just hang them up and they dry quickly, very light material.

Thanks for the suggestion! When I feel rich and decide to start spending more $ on jerseys, I may try the LG.

I've found that the 1X Pearl Izumi stuff fits me fine, as well as some others. But this one jersey I really like by Twin Six I just can't make work. Too snug on the bottom.
