Anyone else Seattle to Portland Ride this weekend?

so this weekend is the Seattle to Portland Ride. It is a 2 day ride going 200 miles. Is anyone else doing this ride this weekend?

I did this ride 3 years ago by myself. After that, I basically stopped riding since I got a job that required major hours! Well this year I decided that I needed to get back into shape and made this my goal to ride. I have lost about 60lbs this year. My wife will be doing this ride with me this time. I am really nervous but also very excited about doing it.

Let me know if you are going to be there, maybe we can meet up I think I will be the only person their with the Zynga jersey.

Ron

Last year after seeing a few friends attempt the STP (only one of them finished) was what motivated me to buy a bike and start riding. I've rode a ton in the past year and done a full century and a double metric and a few thousand training miles. Now this weekend I'll be riding the STP. I'm pretty excited!

Crashed out of last years. Didnt get enough training time, or enough extra money to afford doing it this year.

And i dont think my new Bottom Bracket will be in in time to ride along and support any of my friends doing it this year either. I may be out in the Tenino area with a Cow Bell though, just for giggles.

Not I. Believe it or not. The ride just can't compete with being in the mountains...

I'll be doing it along with my 16yo son and sister. I'm really looking forward to it. We are going as far as Vader on Saturday to make Sunday easier. With 10K other cyclists I might be hard to find but if you look I'll be wearing one of my Tour de Cure jerseys and riding my red/black/white Specialized Secteur.

I will be there, and hard to miss. Green bike, yellow tires, yellow tape... (oh and should have on the white, red, and green Mexico jersey)

I haven't even got my bike yet, but it was so inspiring seeing you all ride by.
