2 Year Cycling Anniversary

2 years ago I bought my Roadie

I've gone from 252 Lbs to 202 Lbs
From riding 1/2 mile at 10 MPH to 60 mile rides at 17 MPH
From 2 BP meds to 1 on the lowest dose they make
Stopped wheezing
Resting pulse of ~90 to low 50s
Ridden 4465 miles
Finished 3 Triathlons, 1 with a podium 2nd place in AG. Okay there were only 2 of us in my age group but who's counting?

Fell in love with Cycling! I now ride for the challenge of getting faster and not to lose weight. My goal is to ride 20 MPH, no drafting & no wind, over a flat 20 mile course. Last weekend at a Triathlon I averaged 18.7 for 21 miles... getting there.

My bike and BF have been very good to me.. Many thanks to you folks for all the advice and inspiration, this place changes lives!
