I finally did it......

When I do my waterfront ride if I go far enough I have to go up a very short steep hill (at least to me)....I have tried and tried to get up and over it to no avail...It's part of the scenic drive and there are always cars passing you and then there are driveways on the right of you. You can't get any momentum before you start because it starts from a flat road.....well today I did it......I GOT UP AND OVER King George Terrace. If I can figure out how to post a picture I'll post a view from the top....
next week I'll try again and soon I'll try it from the other side.

Nice job, Karen. Isn't it rewarding to finally beat a challenge that has been winning?!?!

To post a picture, the best way to do it is to host it on Photobucket, SmugMug, etc. Then get the image location URL and post it in between

Would love to see the victory image!

Congratulations. It's a great thing beating one's local nemesis hill — if one is lucky enough to have one.

Thanks for the inspiration. I have a bad boy bump that I have not conquered since my last neck herniation, and it is time overdue.
