Would you commit to buying a C/A jersey?

I'm putting in a lot of time on this, and thought before we go too much further, I should ask - would you commit to buying one once we nail down a design or are we just playing around here? I don't mean that in a bad way. I have fun doing this. However, if there isn't enough support to actually place an order, I think I'll stop working on this and actually do my job! I have to call to ask about how this all works with graphic files, formats, final layout, etc, so the cost could go up by $10 or so. I've never done this before, so I'm learning as I go.

My guess is that we can do this for $75 or less.

I'm not saying AK Apparel is the chosen vendor. I've just been using their online layout tool and here is their pricing to give an idea. My guess is we'll have about 30 people willing to buy, however, I want to validate that guess.

http://www.akapparel.com/order/jersey-pricing.php

Thanks!

I had to say no and honestly it's because I do not embrace my clydeness and have no desire to remain a clyde. Two years ago I got down to 197lbs and it felt great to get below 200 and I on my way there again after letting my depression take over for 1.5 years.

We are doing a fit party on Saturday! So I should be able to get a bit of video and pictures. We already chose the type of fabric we want. I can pick PedalmeFar's brain on how she did the design as their tool is not intuitive for me. Not sure how she manipulated things.

This is an older version but the main design is the same. The Cyberhorse logo is going on the sleeves and BCWC will be the only thing on the pockets in the back. (Personally I would not have gone with the yellow color for the pockets. Also had trouble finding a picture so finally just took a photo of the PDF on my screen.

I voted yes, but want to qualify it...has to be an appealing design for that much cash.

I was thinking that same thing. Just by the nature of what it is, we need to make sure we have that flexibility.

I agree. That's why I'm being so "obsessive" with the other thread. Please speak up in it if you have input.

Joe, has anyone suggested to you yet to contact Curtis in the 50+ sub-forum? He puts together and places an order for 50+ kits about once a year. He says it is a big time sink, but organizes it for the love of the sport and for us in the "club". You may consider touching bases with him, (his vendor, hassels, how to collect money and then mail out, etc.). He also puts together an NorCal order around the same time for our brethren up north.

Mine was a qualified "yes." There was no "Yes if the price is right" button.

OK, OK, I will go along and click on YES.

As long as the dang thing fits me, like as in a XXL is a 2XL. My BA jersey is a 2XL and I can barely get it around my thighs.

Pretty sure a group clyde buy would have to make sure the things aren't euro sizes.

As long as the design is posted first. As in, If the color changes to puke brown with pink stripes, I'm out.

I was just thinking that same thing. 20/20 hindsight. Now...if I just knew someone that could edit the original post..........

Puke brown and pink stripes. Not gonna happen. It'll have mauve polka dots!

And yes, I'll talk to the vendor ahead of time. MAYBE I can get some size samples before the 14th for those on the next GMR climb to try on, then pass on our findings to the rest.

I've messaged Craig from the 50+ forum for his advice. He's been down this road before. I'll also talk to BG's vendor. I like the detail in their layout. I have a lot of work to do in buying clipart in high-res, assembling the elements then making vector art out of it. It'll be worth it, though.

That would be nice as I have a hard time finding XXL even in club fit. Hope they offer 3XL

I'd commit to 2, one for Gina.

Mrs. Pumper would be in for one if she liked the design of course. I may be in for one myself depending on price, since buying 2 jerseys might be a little costly. Either way I put down a yes for at least one.
