NEW INFO - Clydesdales and Athenas Jersey Order Thread - ORDER YOUR JERSEY HERE!

Orders Closed. Watch for a sticky message for future orders!

The collar in greater detail:

Short Sleeve Jersey Prices:
XS - 2X - $61
3X - 8X - $71

Prices:
XS - 2X - $74
3X - 8X - $84

Long Sleeve FLEECE MOCK TURTLENECK Jersey

Prices:
XS - 2X - $83
3X - 8X - $93

Please note the mock turtleneck has no rear pockets.

This includes US shipping. Shipping to any other country will be the exact difference, initiated through USPS. Canada is + $9

Zipper will be a standard zipper even though the artwork shows a full. See design thread for more details. Also, the "cut" is only listed as "mens" because they had to mark something. You will receive what you ordered.

The manufacturer says this model short-sleeve jersey is their go-to and hands-down best seller. It is also what the 50+ forum orders and they've been quite happy. Also, women's cut is available! From the Champ-Sys website:

We make one women's jersey cut. This cut features a slight hourglass shape, in that it is nipped slightly at the waist so that it has a more feminine curve. The women's jersey also does not have elastic at the waistband. However, some of our female customers order a men's club or race cut jersey, depending on their style preferences.

Please note:
The $10 difference in pricing is the exact difference from the manufacturer.
This is a not-for-profit effort. My goal is to create it, produce it and facilitate it, but at the same time, not make money and NOT LOSE MONEY on the endeavor. Because of that, I have no room for error. I can't make refunds or changes to completed orders. I can't change sizes after I place the order. Also, I will not be held responsible for size deviations on the manufacturers part, quality issues, tastes, etc. I posted the size charts they gave me, but these I'm sure are coming from China and "should" match the charts. The bottom line is, while I've done everything possible to make sure we know everything possible before ordering, all sales are final.....period.

This entire process will take a while. I've put a three week deadline for payment, and the company takes a about 6 weeks to make them.
Prices reflect PayPal fees, postage from the company and postage to you, artwork plus a bit for tape and labels and such. Also, please look the above design over VERY carefully. Again, there can be no refunds!

Now, as soon as I can send the $250 deposit, I can get the fit kits. I'm hoping to get those delivered to me before our next SoCal Clyde/Athena ride on Oct. 14. This will allow everyone there to try them on and report back as to the fit.

I do not have to know the jersey size(s) for your order yet. I need quantity and payment in order to get them working on the design. It'll take a couple of weeks after I send the deposit for Champ-Sys to do their thing on the artwork. This way we can get the fit kits and decide sizes. I'll need your size before the order goes in (obviously).

THE WINDOW FOR ORDERING IS FROM NOW UNTIL OCTOBER 21. The order will be placed on Monday, October 22nd. No additional orders will be accepted after the 21st until the next batch order, which will probably be in 6 months or so.

I will start a spread sheet at the bottom of this post with the orders as I know of them. This way, when you place your order, you can track it and make sure I have everything right.

To order, please PM me. I'll send you my PayPal info or mailing address, for those who don't use paypal. I won't get into re-working pricing if you don't use PayPal. Sorry, but I just don't have the time to do all the accounting variations. In your PayPal payment or with your check, please include:

Name:
BF Screen Name
Address:
City:
State:
Zip:
Qty:
Gender Style
Sleeves LS/SS
Size(s):

Here is the size chart. I'm clarifying the discrepancies in the "back" (C) measurements with them now and will update the best I can, as soon as I can. The 4X-8X chart is the absolute latest-greatest.

PM sent.

And I'm not making this a sticky yet because I don't want it lost in the area that nobody looks.

What does it say on the collar? Not the inside, but outside where it can be read by anyone.

I know the artwork is set and I didn't give any input into it, but if it were my decision, I'd go with the singular instead of plural, (i.e., Clydesdale and Athena Cycling Club). I'll send an order/PM tonight after I check the size on my Fifty-Plus jersey. Nice design. Quite attractive.

I like the relative informality of the final font selections. Nicely done.

Hey, for the sizing... if you take an existing jersey and lay it flat, are you supposed to measure to the widest part of the jersey under the arms? I get varying results from my current jerseys, go figure.

I have no idea. The best thing to do is to commit to 2X and pay the $61. Then, try one on from the fit kit on the 14th to confirm you're right. If not, we adjust accordingly before the order goes in.

Is that a full zipper? Is it possible for pick up at a meeting place near you? I hate having stuff mailed. We don't get home till after 5 so having a package sitting on our doorstep all day is risky. And standing in line at the post office is worse!........... if it's even open when we get off work.

I work in Burbank and go to Club Med once a month. Or, I can bring it to the next SoCal ride. We'll work it out!

No, not full zipper. My plan is the regular zipper.

Man, that is a good looking jersey. Being unemployed stinks...no cash. However, another hobby of mine is amateur radio/police scanners. Maybe I can sell off a couple of items to come up with the dough. The October 21 deadline gives me a little bit of time to work with.

Just a comment that I hope either Curt is reading this thread, or that you are in contact with him, as I hope to get a "50+" jersey on the next order, if he can get the larger sizes, instead of stopping at 4XL. I will be ordering one of these shortly as well, and I thank you for your efforts - also, personally I hope you rounded up to the nearest $5.00 as all the work, tape, postage, etc - you deserve it~!

Sorry about the unemployed thing. Been there...it stinks! Please keep in mind our minimum order is 10 of the same unit, so I'm pretty sure there will be another order in the future, should this run not work out for you. I'm not going anywhere!

Curt gave me some great info, especially the part about the little expenses that add up...and the referral to Champ-Sys. I would shoot him a PM letting him know that you're interested in the next run....or better yet, start a thread about it, if there isn't a recent one and see if there is enough interest in doing a run. As long as Champ-Sys has the art, it's a pretty easy process. Also, Curt may not be aware of the larger sizes. At one point, 4x was their largest. There may be other companies that do the large sizes, but I never found it. Everyone I talked to said 3X or 4X was their largest. Great move for Champ-Sys.

I rounded up about $0.21. It's all good. As I said, this is a not-for-profit deal. I'm just loving the community effort to design it and that we'll all be representing around the world.

Umm - minimum order of 10 per unit? Doesn't that also mean size? So say I ordered a 6XL - it wouldn't work unless 9 other people order the same size?

Nope. The great thing about Champ-Sys and anyone else who uses this digital sublimation process is the artwork is automatically scaled to the size of the jersey. Otherwise, the mountain and text on the back of an 8x would be tiny in relation and it would be spilling over on an XS. So, it looks consistent and proportionate on each. All we have to do is hit 10 items of short sleeve jerseys, no matter the size.
