Rode to work today despite the RAINY weather. Have to get those miles in for the Rapha challenge.

30 fixed gear miles this afternoon. With 69 more miles I can break 4000 for the year.

About 6 miles from downtown Fort Worth, still solidly in the city:

I did 32 miles last night with our scrawny Critical Mass group.

I rode exactly 37 miles today with fellow BFers nkfrench (middle) and Yo Spiff (right) and am sitting at 4000 miles for the year.

Looking back at previous years, I guess the 4000 is my highest yearly total ever, almost 1000 miles more than last year (which was admittedly a disappointing year).

Detroit Lakes, MN, during their Midsummer Festival

Before someone says it, the riders were on the wrong side of the road because they had just passed me and another rider who had stopped to watch the balloon. The road was deserted except for riders all going in the same direction.

Stormy weather here in Athens and it's been raining non stop for the past two days; just enough for me to take a quick ride and do some adjusting/fiddling around with new stuff on the bike.

Okay, iforgotmename, you win. Those are some awesome pics.

I decided not to ride today. Then found myself getting ready to go out on The Old Gentleman. We did 16 miles together. Gawd, I love the ride of this bike.

As well you should be. I measured tonight; that puppy has 180 mm cranks. No wonder it accelerates so smoothly.

Super high end bike, super high end wheels, awesome groupset, and a saddle bag large enough to carry a dead cat lol!

Seriously man, thats one nice bike...but that saddle bags sticks out like a sore thumb.

I am sure there are tons of options, but I love this bag. I can carry one tube, one patch kit, two levers, and a small toolset...and its tiny.
