UberClyde Base Layer?

I looked around the forum for clyde base layer suggestions, but it seems like most people top out at 2x or 3x sizes, which are easy to find. I, however, probably need a 4x at a minimum, possibly even a 5x given how small most exercise clothing is.

My chest measurement is about 50-52", which most 3x sizes claim to fit, but the real problem for me is my belly girth, which measures to about 56-58". Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Well, at least during the winter you want the base layer to be tight and made of a material with wicking properties. Some offerings also use a stretchable fabric, but since I get most of my stuff at thrift stores I don't know where you would find those types of garments at a brick & mortar store.

I use the c9 compression stuff from target. The 2x is as large as it comes but it is stretchy enough to fit as a base layer (definitely wouldn't go out in public without a top layer ) it gives the added benefit of "holding stuff in" i am roughly the same measurements as you and find the 2x ls mock turtleneck to work great. Disclaimer, i am in socal so the coldest my morning rides tend to get at worst is mid 40's low 50's.
The other nice thing about them is they are under 20 bucks

When I had a 60 inch waist I could wear the 2x UnderArmour compression gear and Wal-Mart knockoffs of same. I didn't look particularly pleasant in the locker room when I changed but still, I could wear them. Now that there's less of me I still wear them, and I wear them for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I decided to try Fox Wear. Placed the order earlier today after measuring myself up. It's a bit of a risk because the clothes are a bit pricey but at the same time if I utilize them as much as I intend to they'll be more than worth it. My only concern is that I might "outshrink" them by next year, but then I might be able to find someone who might want them on this forum. I scoured the internet and every review of his clothing is great, so hopefully it'll be worth it.

I've finally managed to catapult my weight loss to 2.86 pounds a week for the last month, and I really cannot afford to lose this momentum over winter!

I decided to go with a full kit, 3-layer top and 2-layer bottom:

1x Power Dry Shirt - Topaz, open-boat neck
1x Fleece Pullover T-shirt with zip, Chili color in 2mm width
1x Neo-Shell rain jacket, heavyweight for the front, upper sleeves and upper back, with midweight for the lower back and the rest of the sleeves

1x Power Dry Tights - midweight, Black.
1x Neoshell rain pants - heavyweight

1x Power Stretch Socks - 2mm black

Hopefully this will be good enough for any temperature Buffalo throws at me. I'll be posting a review after a few weeks into winter.

Be sure to tell us about the fitting, what he asked, and what you used to give him the measurements vs how the new items compare to what you used to measure with? That's the part that I am not sure of, what do I use to give him measurements?

Would you share what you got and perhaps the cost? I have not ordered anything from him yet.

Interesting. I'm attracted to the knickers, but fear I'll be thought a poseur for wearing them.

You need to get those knickers in black so that you have the total ninja look going.

b.t.w. how cold does it get in Houston? (I was under the impression that it stayed pretty warm there most of the time).

It occasionally goes below freezing, but the problem is it is always damp and winter is windy, plus my blood is thin from living in the heat lol. Yea I did think it was ninja like.

For sure.

We need a Pokey Forum so we could print it on a jersey.
